ABOUT ABOUT

Wahab and Jinan came to America from Iraq as refugees five years ago. That’s five years of sharing their incredible food with an ever-broadening circle of family, neighbors, and friends here in Chattanooga. And now after dreaming big and planning carefully, they are launching their own catering business, Jinan’s Kitchen.

“When I came here to America, I thought the best thing I can give is to share our food. So that’s what I did, that’s what I like to do,” Jinan says. “We have been married for 24 years and we always cook together. For us, the kitchen is the heart of the home, and we want to share our heart with you through our food.”

And on Friday, May 26th, Mad Priest Events is proud to introduce Wahab and Jinan and their delicious food to Chattanooga! The evening will be an immersion into Iraqi culture centered around a full-course Iraqi dinner with formal table service and family-style seating.

So get ready to dive into your favorite Middle Eastern dishes full of aromatic rice, succulent meats, zesty vegetables, and fresh bread baked right there next to your table in their tandoori oven!
